100 Pictures Challenge #2: Love.
Simple engagement card art for Chris and Sharm. The first - and probably *only* - picture in my gallery to be inked and coloured with a mouse, because I wanted it to look graphic-ishly simple and angular. (That, and I was in a bit of a hurry -).
In Chinese tradition, the dragon and the phoenix represent the man (groom) and woman (bride) respectively and, when paired together, represent balance and harmony in the relationship. According to Feng Shui, the pair of mythological creatures also represents a strong and lasting romantic relationship and symbolise a strengthened and re-energised marriage. I'm no believer, of course, but they still make pretty good subjects for a card!

Suggestion: "hand drawn" kanji often are more apt.
