Artist's CommentsThe writing! It's like a help message. "Get me away from these guys". "Dear Tory, Please, come and take me away. I can't imagine a better life because I have no imagination. But surely, surely you can save me. Love, Hobbie." Just a quick doodle for  's art quilt. If you've no idea what it's about - she's collecting 500x500 px art messages as keepsakes, in the event that her dA mates drop off the face of this earth. So I (being me) thought it would be dead funny to combine what she loves (Star Wars, Red Flight) with an in-joke that annoys her (donuts) and what she absolutely hates (spiders). Hey, fair is fair. And she *did* say "NO DONUTS"...Let this remind her of how she found me (through my X-Wing pilots art), and the chaos she unwittingly invited into her life by writing me That One Letter.  [Starting to regret adopting me, are you?]Aunt Tory, you know I love you. Please don't kill me. Didn't realise until far too late that I'd forgotten to take relative proportions into account, and so messed up their relative sizes. Silly me. Oh well. Red Flight are Wes Janson, Wedge Antilles, Hobbie Klivian and Tycho Celchu (with the donuts). Star Wars is the property of George Lucas/ Lucas Arts. |
