[I go around preaching about going forward instead of backward, and then I go and do *this*... oy. Don't worry; this is strictly a one-time thing
 ]I'm not sure how it all started, but somewhere, somehow, *WraithTen and I got to talking about art and development, and how it would be pretty fun to redraw the first thing we ever submitted to dA to see how far we'd gone since. But since I uploaded a whole bunch of things when I signed up two years ago, I decided to just pick the worst of the lot. This horrifying monstrosity easily won, hands down: [link]  Ai caramba. So yeah. The original plan was to just redraw the foreground, and keep the hideous purple background. BUT I decided I simply couldn't live with a *second* purple haze background. Ah well. Two years. And I still can't draw a decent Carth. I attribute this to the fact that I simply hate the guy's guts.  I'll just go back to making fun of him.My thanks to Firera for the magazine name, and Winter for the donut and overall betaing. Very nice. This is pretty much exactly what she should look like, crows feet, scruff, errant hairs, and all. He looks thoroughly confused about something off to the photographer's right. "What is that? And why is it making that awful noise? I'm probably better off not to be asking questions, but then again, I don't want to wait around until it attacks me and BETRAYS MY TRUST!"
