Another one of those no-I've-not-seen-it-yet-but-it's-for-friends pictures. I know, I know, I know... I haven't had time to go. *Someone* wanted Hikaru Sulu (because, apparently, John Cho is underrepresented here?) and the Enterprise; there was no way I was going to do *two* separate paintings.
 And I still think he looks like one of my old mates. Dead creepy, if you ask me. Star Trek created by Gene Roddenberry. TECH NOTES Painted with my old friend, the hard round brush. (Just to see if I still could). And don't bother looking for that picture of the Enterprise. It doesn't exist. Not from that angle, anyway.  The background is actually a fractal rendered using Apophysis 2.06 bz+ (Yes, I know, I'm still using that, while everybody else has moved on to Apo 2.8gazillion. Bite me), subjected to radial blur and zoom. |
