OMG OMG....Sorry, I'm getting ahead of myself.
This was the other picture that went to Motor City Comic Con 2010.
At the Last Possible Minute, I decided that, come hell or high water, I was going to make something for Jeremy Bulloch if it killed me (one copy to give him, and one for him to sign), because I'd heard about how nice he was and remained connected with his Boba Fett fanbase, and how he himself was a big collector of all things Boba Fett. So I did this on Friday night and
OMG LOOK: [PIC 1] [PIC 2] [PIC 3](I'm utterly pathetic. Sorry...).
Force, I can't remember the last time I painted this fast *or* furiously: it was done in about six to six and a half hours, but I spent Every Goddamn Second of it painting like there was no tomorrow. (Except for the breaks I took to throw WIPs at Tory). I finished it at about half past three in the morning, by which time my arm was about to come off at the elbow. It's such a ghastly rush job, I'll confess, and it's not a picture to be proud of - and yet, I *am* terribly happy that Bulloch signed it, just the same.
My profound gratitude to
, who got it signed for me at the convention. Caran d'Ache Vandyck brown pencil + Corel PhotoPaint.
Boba Fett is the property of Lucas Arts. Duh.
