My contribution to TheForce.Net's Jedi Council Forums Star Wars 30th Anniversary collage project. 16 artists, 30 characters. :D We drew lots; I got High General Cassio Tagge and a random sandtrooper. All the other characters submitted so far were in 'traditional' poses, so I thought I'd stir things up a bit. :lmao: 'Cos, you know, where there's a sandtrooper... there's gotta be sand. In this case, a danged lot of it!

The original had no background because all the characters are to be put together in a poster. I decided not to change that for this upload, so the only additions are the coloured backdrop and lettering (in SW font). I'd file this under Paintings & Airbrushing --> Fanart -->TV/Movies, only the category doesn't seem to be working... and anyway, this was meant to be funny. So.

EDIT: The original picture I uploaded had a mysteriously stripey background. Don't ask me how that happened. Anyway, I've fixed it.

Wow. Skillfully done. The concept is funny, the design flawless. Really like the way the armor looks sandy, dusted, dirty. And how did you get the Sandtrooper to look so...angry? He looks pretty upset around the eyes. Skillfully done, as he IS wearing a helmet. Furthermore, instantly fave'd for the awesomeness and tongue in cheek humor. I say he really should not have signed onto that job if he hates the sand so. :lol:

Thanks very much! Y'know, the way sandtrooper and stormtrooper helmets are designed, they look pretty annoyed to begin with. So narrowing the eye slits just makes them look even more disgruntled. :rofl:

I don't think there are any sandtroopers that actually like sand... How it must get under all that armour!

Hahaha! Yeah, as a kid I never thought about their comfort. As an adult, it comes to mind and it's kinda ironic. haha.
