Sometimes I think "Lord of Utterly Pointless Details" makes a pretty good title. Other times I think I'd look spiffy in a straitjacket, bouncing around in a padded cell. Either way, there's just no getting around the facts that I'll advise against stupid details one moment, and then break my own rules the next.
 [There isn't any OFF switch for my obsessiveness, once I kick off in that direction.]Jeffrey Donovan as Michael Westen in Burn Notice, for a good friend who's been asking for this since last year. I don't know whether to thank you for recommending such an excellent series, or to smack you for giving me one more thing to hurt my wallet over! Tech details Hard round brush for painting. Hard round brush at 1px for details (yes, I painted every strand of that damn fabric. Yes, I'm insane, obviously). Chalk brush for extra texture. "Add water" watercolour brush (sparingly) for areas that stubbornly refused to blend. Shape tools (line, circle, square, polygon) and hard round brush for the background.
