Artist's Comments

Oh yeah, I've definitely lost it. I was bored and I thought... Hey, maybe I could try 5-point perspectives. :ohmygod:

<DarthFar>i don't know why the hell there are trains, speedboats AND flying taxis all at the same place. don't ask [ROFL]
<DarthFar>i'm going to just get away with it by calling it Terminus
<WraithTen>It's a crowded location. [NOD]
<WraithTen>DarthFar: art doesn't have to make sense. [WINK]
<DarthFar>i wonder where the canals go that the trains don't [ROFL]
<WraithTen>sewers. I hope the speedboats get out before then
<DarthFar>ROFL
<DarthFar>so the rich... live in sewers?? [ROFL]
<WraithTen>and it's a people mover or monorail. [GIGGLE]
<WraithTen>DarthFar: well you know, there are all these tunnels under New York, deep, buried, that the rich used so they wouldn't have to mix with the common folk. [WINK]
<DarthFar>well, if that's where the RICH live, they must be RICH in sewage. no thanks. [ROFL] i'll take one of the cheap sky apartments

Uh. Yeah.

About 3 hours.

Sweet! Definitely gives a great sense of space. Five point perspective, huh? I don't think I'd even know how to go about setting that up... maybe if I tried and experimented a bit I could figure it out... :XD:

It's about dang time you tried this! :excited: We all knew you could do it. Only problem now is we won't let you get away with the boring 1 or 2-point perspectives. ;) You so totally nailed this, I'm very proud of you.

Sewage speedboats, ftw!

:jawdrop: The perspective on this is brilliant! I'm not an artist, so I can't really comment on the technique that efficiently... but it sure looks awesome! :D

Well, the 3-hour timeframe doesn't include working out and drawing the perspective grid, Lu! I just learnt how to do that, and I thought I'd put it to good use.

Thank you very much.

Cool! The perspective is very good.

Very nice, the title and the overall aesthetic kind of reminds me of Games Workshop's Warhammer 40,000/Rogue Trader world.

The prespective looks amazing to me

Be nice to everyone!

I definitely need to practice more. And I absolutely love the perspective, esp. matched with the type of city-scape used. Lends a lot to the scope of the place.
