For Happy Birthday!

This was a joke that got seriously, insanely out of hand. Uh... you know, I don't even remember how or why I got the idea... but it managed to go from a rough sketch to off-the-metre crazy detail, and as insanely researched as Stille Nacht. Well... almost.

[You can't possibly be an old maid, Nan. You're married! Oh and I really would've given you your long hair, but while reading up, I found an article that said that the Victorian women's love for curling irons and the damaging effect said irons had on hair inevitably reduced the women's locks to a 'cotton-candy' consistency. So sorry... you get cotton candy hair]

[Yes, I'm well aware that no self-respecting Victorian would've grinned like a maniac for the camera, nor would they have had the endurance to sustain it. And yes, I'm just as aware that Victorian purists will have my head for what I did to Nan's dress. Aw, what the heck]
